If you love Tuscany and good food you can leave from here to discover the famous wine roads of this area: “The road of wine of lucchesi hills and Montecarlo” . The wine produced is the “DOC delle colline lucchesi e di Montecarlo”. In the same place the famous olive oil is produced with its typical green color and intense flavour. The mild climate, the southern exposition and the high hills which protect the area from the northern winds, are guarantee of the best quality of oil and wine products.
It’s worth the trouble to visit the nearest town of Montecarlo, whose origins date back to 14th
century when the near city dwellers sheltered in the “Rocca di
Cerruglio” where later prince Carlo di Bohemia (Charles 5th)
built the city. In few minutes drive you set to Collodi, a small town
with the ancient Villa Garzoni , the famous hometown of the writer
Carlo Collodi, author of “Pinocchio”. In
1951 there was an architectural design competition to build the park of
Pinocchio, a beautiful theme park with many sculptures, suitable
for both children and adults.
Don’t forget to visit the
chief town, Lucca, the beautiful city with its exclusive buildings and
the 16th century walls that encircle the center of the city.
In half an
hour you can reach Florence (50 km.), Pisa (38 km.), Pistoia,
Prato, Garfagnana and the Versilia seaside. In an hour and half
you can reach Siena.
The house is immersed in the green of Tuscan countryside among olive trees, vineyards, Mediterranean woods and a beautiful garden. It is the ideal place for those who love nature, relaxing, taking long walks, visiting artistic sites, culture and Tuscan food. Near Tenuta Albereta you have the possibility to practice outdoor sports: running, golf, tennis, horse-riding and fishing.
The ground floor of the house is provided with: furnished kitchen, dining room with fireplace, tv-room, a double bedroom with shower and wc-room. Outside there is a patio where you can have your meals with a large fireplace for your barbecues. The wood table under the terrace may be extended becoming for 18 people. On the first floor there are four bedrooms with double bed and two large bathrooms.
Each bedroom has a name, a different style and
character:
- Dalia, with rose coloured flowers, a big double-bed
and windows that face the garden.
- Peonia, with light blue coloured flowers, a double bed
and windows that face the pool.
- Diana, with coloured green flowers, a double bed and
windows that face the garden.
- Tea, the largest one, with coloured red flowers, has
two single beds and a sofa bed. The windows face the woods and the garden. This
bedroom opens to a balcony with trees all around and stairs that go to the
garden.
Opposite the house, on the other side of the garden, there is the dependance, a fine-roomed flat with a double bed and a single bed and a bathroom.
On
one side
of the house, facing south, there is the pool, from which you have a
beautiful
sight on the typical Tuscany countryside.
Amenities: dish washer, washing machine, fridge, microwave, coffee
maker, toaster, TV, chaiselongue for the pool, chairs and table also
under the terrace, bed for babies.
You'll find five bottles of wine of our production, from vineyards of Tenuta Albereta!
The house is for 10 - 11 people, with the dependance it becomes for 12 - 14 people.

I provide cooking classes
for my guests.
I’m
available to prepare for you a full dinner, from
starter to dessert, showing you how to make some of this dishes.
I will make
you only good organic food, bought from local producers and
vegetables from my own vegetable garden. Your
children could help in kneading water,
flour and yeast to prepare pizza or focaccia. If you like home made
bread I can make you a good tuscan “casalingo” bread, made with organic integral flour ground with millstone.
Before your departure for Tenuta Albereta I will send you some
instruction concerning the area you are going to visit: the cities, the excursions and the restaurants you can't miss.
